Elon Musk, who has previously expressed his opposition to OpenAI, has withdrawn his lawsuit against the ChatGPT developer. Musk’s lawyer requested the court to dismiss the lawsuit filed against OpenAI and Sam Altman in late February, just one day before the court hearing. During the previous lawsuit, Musk claimed that OpenAI, which started as a nonprofit research institute for the benefit of humanity, had transformed into a profit-driven company serving individuals’ interests, and he urged them to stop such actions and open their technology to the public. Currently, Musk’s team has not disclosed the reason for withdrawing the lawsuit.
