다니엘 아샴(Daniel Arsham)은 '상상의 고고학(Fictional Archaeology)'이라는 독특한 개념을 바탕으로 작품을 창작하는 시각예술가인데요, 그는 화산재, 방해석, 하이드로스톤, 자수정 등 지질학적 재료를 사용하여 이를 인위적으로 부식시켜 미래에서 발굴한 유물처럼 보이게 합니다. 

이번 <서울 3024> 전시는 1000년 뒤의 미래를 배경으로 하는데요, 대표작인 <미래 유물(Future Relic)> 오브제 시리즈와 동명의 영화, 유물 발굴 현장을 재현한 대형 설치 작업 등을 포함한 다양한 작품을 감상할 수 있습니다. 

또한 티파니앤코, 디올, 포르쉐 등 여러 브랜드와의 협업 작품 및 이번 전시를 위해 새롭게 제작한 신작 등 총 250여 점의 작품이 전시되어 있으며 전시 티켓은 롯데뮤지엄 공식 홈페이지를 통해 예매할 수 있습니다.

Daniel Arsham, an American artist based in New York, is presenting his solo exhibition <Seoul 3024> in Korea.

Daniel Arsham creates works based on the unique concept of 'Fictional Archaeology.' He uses geological materials such as volcanic ash, calcite, hydrostone, and amethyst, and artificially corrodes them to make them look like artifacts excavated from the future.

This <Seoul 3024> exhibition is set 1,000 years in the future. It features various works, including his representative series <Future Relic> objects, the film of the same name, and large-scale installations recreating excavation sites.

In addition, the exhibition showcases collaborative works with various brands such as Tiffany & Co., Dior, and Porsche, as well as new works created specifically for this exhibition, totaling over 250 pieces. Tickets for the exhibition can be purchased through the official website of Lotte Museum.

丹尼尔·阿尔沙姆(Daniel Arsham)是一位视觉艺术家，他以“虚构考古学”的独特概念创作作品。他使用火山灰、方解石、石膏和紫水晶等地质材料，并将其人为腐蚀，使其看起来像是未来发掘的文物。
