Donald Glover has revealed the reason for retiring the stage name ‘Childish Gambino’.

In an interview with The New York Times, he said, “I’m not 25 anymore. There’s beauty in every moment, and you don’t have to make it or look for it.” He added that his definition of ‘success’ changed as he built a family and had children.

Glover began his career as Childish Gambino over a decade ago, releasing six albums and winning five Grammy Awards. He announced that the upcoming album, ‘Bando Stone & the New World’, set to be released this Friday, will be the final album under the Childish Gambino moniker.
