경기 양주시의 한 태권도장에서 학대받아 의식불명 상태에 빠졌던 4세 남아가 끝내 세상을 떠났습니다.

수사 당국에 따르면 A군은 전날(23일) 사망 판정을 받았으며 이는 의식불명에 빠진 지 11일 만인데요, 이에 따라 30대 태권도장 관장 B씨에게 적용되는 혐의가 아동학대 치사 등으로 변경될 것으로 보입니다.

B씨는 A군을 매트에 거꾸로 넣어 20분 이상 방치한 혐의를 받고 있으며 CCTV 영상을 삭제하기도 했는데요, 경찰은 B씨를 구속하여 현재 수사 중입니다.

A 4-year-old boy who fell into a state of unconsciousness due to abuse at a taekwondo dojang in Korea has passed away.

According to the investigation authorities, the boy, identified as A, was pronounced dead on the 23rd, which is 11 days after falling into an unconscious state. Consequently, the charges against the 30-something taekwondo instructor, identified as B, are expected to be revised to include charges of child abuse leading to death.

B is accused of putting A into a mat upside down and leaving him unattended for over 20 minutes, and also of deleting CCTV footage. The police have arrested B and are currently investigating the case.
