대한체육회는 이날 “바흐 위원장이 윤 대통령에게 전화를 통해 개회식에서 대한민국을 북한으로 잘못 소개한 것에 대해 사과하고 싶다는 의사를 밝혔다”고 전했습니다.

이 실수는 26일 파리 센강 일원에서 열린 개회식에서 발생했으며, 당시 아나운서는 ‘대한민국 선수단’을 프랑스어와 영어로 ‘북한’으로 잘못 소개했습니다. 이후 IOC는 SNS를 통해 사과문을 발표했습니다.

This mistake occurred during the opening ceremony held along the Seine River in Paris on the 26th, where the announcer incorrectly introduced the ‘South Korean delegation’ as ‘North Korea’ in both French and English. The IOC subsequently issued an apology through social media.
