A soldier was killed and an officer was injured in a grenade training accident at an Army boot camp in Sejong City, South Korea. The accident occurred on the morning of May 21st during a grenade throwing training session. Soldiers were practicing throwing grenades when one of the grenades exploded, killing one soldier and injuring an officer. The injured were immediately transported to a military hospital, but the soldier was pronounced dead. Army officials said they are investigating the exact cause of the accident with the police.
