도쿄를 기반으로 세계적으로 활동하는 라이프스타일 브랜드 ‘미나 페르호넨(minä perhonen)’의 철학과 세계관을 담은 전시 <미나 페르호넨 디자인 여정: 기억의 순환>이 국내 최초로 DDP에서 열립니다. 이번 전시는 '다채로운 개성', '100년을 잇는 정성', '기억의 순환'이라는 주제를 바탕으로 구성되며, 관람객들은 11개의 전시 공간을 통해 미나 페르호넨의 디자인 여정을 함께 경험할 수 있습니다. 미나 페르호넨은 핀란드어로 '나비'를 의미하며, 브랜드명처럼 아름답고 경쾌한 디자인을 통해 패브릭, 패션, 가구 등 다양한 일상 속 아이템으로 그들의 개성을 펼쳐가고 있습니다. 이번 전시에서는 한국의 공예 작가들과의 협업을 통해 국경과 문화를 초월한 새로운 작품들도 선보일 예정입니다. 전시는 9월 12일부터 2025년 2월 6일까지 동대문디자인플라자(DDP)에서 열리며, 다양한 티켓 예매처를 통해 사전 예매가 가능합니다. An exhibition titled “Minä Perhonen Design Journey: The Circle of Memory” will be held for the first time in Korea at DDP, showcasing the philosophy and worldview of the Tokyo-based lifestyle brand Minä Perhonen. This exhibition is structured around the themes of “diverse individuality,” “care that lasts 100 years,” and “the cycle of memory,” allowing visitors to experience Minä Perhonen’s design journey through 11 exhibition spaces. Minä Perhonen, which means “butterfly” in Finnish, expresses its individuality through beautiful and playful designs across various everyday items such as fabrics, fashion, and furniture, true to its brand name. The exhibition will also feature new works created in collaboration with Korean craft artists, transcending borders and cultures.
