이번 결정으로 브라질의 2,148만 명에 달하는 X 사용자는 플랫폼 접근이 어려워질 것으로 보입니다.

The Brazilian Supreme Court has banned the use of social media platform X in the country.

This decision comes after X’s owner, Elon Musk, refused to comply with a court order requiring the appointment of a legal representative in Brazil. The court has warned that accessing X via VPN within Brazil could result in fines of up to $8,874 per day.

The Brazilian government demanded that X appoint a legal representative to manage content responsibilities in the country, but X has consistently refused. In response to these demands, Elon Musk previously criticized the court, stating that he would not comply with its orders.

As a result of this ruling, the 21.48 million X users in Brazil may face difficulties accessing the platform.
